From South Carolina This is a picture of my brother and his first and only pheasant. We didn't have a shotgun for him to hunt pheasant with as we come out to Missouri to hunt deer. But the land had pheasants and he wanted to hunt them. So he went to a pawn shop and paid $80 for a single shot 20 gauge shotgun and a box of shells. After all that we walked up 2 big pheasants in under an hour. Gary dropped the first one right off and had time to reload the single shot but just watched him fly a half arc around us. I think he had a bad case of pheasant fervor!!! We will be back this year and we will bring our shotguns too! The Whitetail Deer out there are big - but the land is even bigger. Man it goes on and on forever. Or it seems like it when your walking!!! Thanks again Donnie and Gary

beside it. See how long it was ..man nice!!! Also, a picture of me and the buck. His rack is 138 -1/8. That's nice, but they where a lot bigger ones out there that's for sure. The body was an honest 260 lbs. now that was reallllllllly nice. My buck came in at 1:30 first day. I set up on a hi long ridge, was watching more or less thorn trees in a grown up cow field. Cows where standing all around me, but the deer where ok with them. This ridge had 2 long hollows on ether side that came up to 2 low saddles one on ether side of me. I was looking for a buck to be up moving in the middle of the day ..AND HE DID... I met lots of fellow members out there and they all where really great fellows to meet. I'm also sending you a picture of one of our members TONY ELLIS he was hunting right beside me and got his buck the first morning around 10 am ..it has a really non-typical rack. Looks even better than picture.. thanks Don Knight
