The value is great. Pictures that make memories and that are saved for the photo album or hung on the wall. Compare that to pictures that end up in a box or the back of a desk drawer.
The toughest aspect of traveling to upland bird hunt is not the land access issue as most of the better pheasant hunting states have plenty of public lands access. The tough aspect is knowing exactly where to park the truck, step out and hunt on the right habitat within the right region of the state that has a long time reproductive success history. And, do so without competing with others. To travel and expect to develop individual knowledge of where to hunt through prior research and during the hunt trial and error will have a lag time of more mistakes and lost time than success. If it were easy to figure where the very best spots are to hunt when traveling to a new region then many others would and the pressure would exceed resources. We fix that problem for those that want to spend their money to spend their time hunting rather than going through the fun sapping effort of long range reconnaissance.
