Traveling Turkey Hunters Hey Jon and John, Just checking in to let you know how our turkey trip went. This year our group has increased to 4 hunters. We were able to fill all our tags on longbeards. We had pretty good weather during our hunt. Even had a couple of calm days, by mid-western standards. The biggest difficulty we faced was weeding through all of the jakes. I think every property we hit had a flock of jakes on it. Things surelook good for next year! Thanks again for providing my friends and I such a quality place to hunt together. We are all excited to come back for bow season. Highlights of the harvest. 1. Triple bearded tom 2. Double bearded tom - "also was his first turkey, nice start" 3. Limbhanger 1 3/8 spurs 4.
