Wild quail hunting for Bobwhite Quail for the do it yourself hunter.

Mid-America Hunting Association was originally founded in 1965 by four local businessmen and quail hunters who simply did not have time to find their own quail hunting farms. They collected into an association and started to lease land to make the most of their available free time spent hunting rather than hunting for a place to hunt. That simple idea has continued to this day.

MAHA wild quail hunting has been strictly for the do it yourself hunter from the beginning. The basis for our organization has always been the enjoyment of the day, most notably the dog work rather than quail in the bag.

That one intangible aspect says more about the quality of the self guided hunter we chose to do business with above all else. And, our wild quail hunting is as far from a Georgia plantation, an Alabama horseback or Texas quail hunt as can be imagined.

Habitat a Woodcock and Ruffle Grouse hunter can appreciate, or for that matter creek bottom Bobwhite Quail hunters as well. Wild quail hunting can be far more difficult than the groomed plantations we have watch in videos and imagined how nice they would be to hunt.
